As the FIL mentioned in this article, I appreciate Kyle’s thoughtful insights in this piece and our short conversations about Disneyland during the recent visit while shuttling all the kids around the parks. I don’t know how he wrote so much since we all just got back.
We have been to Disneyland twice as a family, now totaling fourteen people, from a one-year old to the oldest, at sixty two. Each time we completely wear ourselves and our feet out. But, without exception, everyone talks about when we’ll go again.
Loved the piece. My only feedback is that the Europe paragraph felt weird and out of place.
It felt like I had received a really good meal and was happily digesting and then came across something that felt wrong. It didn't fit with the piece so really stood out for me.
Maybe I shouldn’t have said Europe and said UK cause it’s happening there. But I stand by the point that criminalizing social media posts is a good example of solutions you think you want with consequences you definitely don’t want.
One of your best issues; I guess I tune into idealistic and visionary ideas (even better when they turn into reality)! Modern equivalent of a Disneyland Park could be Special Economic Zones, like Balaji's island. Curious to know who owns the land the Parks are hosted and how that land is being managed/treated 🙄

Ok that makes more sense. Although British I live in Finland so I was reading along happily and then that paragraph really tripped me up.
