From how I read this, it’s 90% critical thinking + 10% admonishment for a lack of first principles thinking and forgetting that the incentives of others (and powerful others!) are likely misaligned with your own
Basically despite the dystopian tone and examples, I struggled to follow the logic a bit so genuinely curious
Awareness is the key differentiator here. Cogsec = divergent thinking, Critical Thinking = convergent thinking. Cogsec is a stateful paranoia that uses new signals (SIGINT) to backtest prior deductive reasoning.
That 90/10 split is concerning, there's a reason the CIA loves psyops.
